MacroRoute

Privacy

MacroRoute does not use accounts and does not store personal meal plans. Location searches are used only to find nearby places for the current request.

If you use current-location lookup, your browser asks for permission first. If you type a city, ZIP code, or address, the app sends that location query to the server and then to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to estimate latitude and longitude. If Nominatim is unavailable, the server may match common U.S. cities from a small built-in fallback list instead.

When you generate recommendations, the app sends the chosen coordinates and search radius to OpenStreetMap / Overpass API through the server to find nearby restaurants and stores. Map and geocoding data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors.

Hosting providers may keep standard request logs for security and operations. Do not use this app for medical advice, allergy guarantees, or emergency decisions.

The app may save calorie, macro, filter, distance, and stop-count settings in your browser only. It does not save your typed location, coordinates, or generated meal plans.
